Sound Proof Headphones

I found this idea online somewhere, they didn't give too much details and I won't either because it's a pretty obvious design. the Idea is to put music headphones inside noise-suppression headphones in order to to be able to hear music without having the volume at 120dB.
And they are cheap.

Sound proof headphones

How to do it:

You will need noise-supression headphones which are usually sold at hardware stores for cheap (don't buy the expensive type because you're gutting most of them anyway). Also dig around for cheap headphones (not earbuds).
Now crack open the audio headphones until you have the basics: a cable connected to two speakers (I also had a mic and mic cable so I clipped them off)

Next crack open the noise-supressors and remove enough foam or anything else they might have in there in order to make room for your speakers. Cut a small hole in the plastic to route the speaker cable outside and hot-glue it to the headstrap thingie, I also covered it with pieces of foam from inside the noise-supressors to make it more comfy (see picture). Finally, route the main audio cable (the one that ends with the audio jack) through the plastic covering (cut another hole), I also tied a small knot on the inside of the plastic so that any pulling on the cable won't snap it off the speaker.

I think that's it. (told you it was easy!)

P.S.
Remember to check that the noise-supression headphones are big enough for your head (oops).
